Bookbinding & Print Finishing
The International Bookbinding and Print Finishing Section meets at least
once a year to debate on matters both technical and strategic. The
Technical Committee of the section maintains a close dialogue with the
machine manufacturers and focuses its attention on all technical
questions.
International Bookbinding and Print-finishing Section met
in Budapest, Hungary on 19th and 20th Septembre
2011
13 representatives of member federations and member companies,
coming from Norway, Sweden, Austria, Belgium, Hungary and the
Netherlands participated in the Annual Meeting of the section. They had
the opportunity to listen to a presentation held by Cees Koedijk
from KVGO on Improvement of communication between printers and
binders.

| Csaba Horvath from the Federation of Hungarian Printers
and Paper Makers inforemd the participants on the printing
industry in Hungary. During the meeting the participants also discussed
the market situation in the Bookbinding and Print-finishing sector. The
next meeting day offered participants the possibility to visit Pauker, a
printing house and Stanctechnik a bookbindery in Budapest.
The meeting was a good occasion for the participants to exchange best
practices and maybe start new cooperations. Further information on the
