A certified Security Management System for
printers and suppliers offering great security for customers, both
private and governmental

For any question on the certification, please contact securityprinters@intergraf.eu or
call
+32 2 230 86 46.
The certification scheme aims at providing security printers and
their suppliers with well established criteria to help them implement
the most efficient and secure management system and to certify their
compliance to the criteria through a precise auditing
process. Taking into account the strategic importance of the
products delivered by security printers and their suppliers, it is
critical to have standardised rules allowing a clear identification of
the management procedures of printers and suppliers. The
Certified Printers and Suppliers have been thoroughly audited against
all major Security Management procedures one requests from his printer
or supplier and listed in the CWA documentation. A yearly audit controls
that a high level of security is maintained during the full 3-year
certification period ensuring the best level of security at all
times.

Security
Management System vs High Security Management System
An additional set of security procedures is fulfilled by those who have
a High Security Management System. These procedures are not technically
linked to the product but to the security measures offered by the
printer. It remains the client´s choice to work with a Certified
Printer with a Security Management System or a High Security Management
System.
Security Hologram
Manufacturers
The International Hologram Manufacturer Association (IHMA) has drafted
an addendum to the Printer Risk Inventory Checklist with specific
additional criteria for Hologram Manufacturers. If your company is
involved in any stage of the Hologram Production, you can become
certified as Security Hologram Manufacturer with a Security Management
System using the CWA 14641:2009 and the Printer Risk Inventory Checklist
with the Hologram Addendum.
Security Stamps
Printers
Intergraf and the Universal Postal Union have signed an agreement and
drafted the "Code of Ethics for Postage Stamps Security Printers". The
signatories commit to respect specific ordering procedures with postal
authorities.
Suppliers to the
Security Printing Industry
All suppliers of products that include security features or of services
that ensure the physical security of printed matter manufactured by a
Security Printing Company can be audited against the CWA 15374:2005.
High Security
Products and Services will be audited depending on the risk
analysis
In addition to the rules of the CWA, the Risk Inventory Checklist lays
down a set of mandatory requirements that must be met to be a Certified
Supplier to the Secure Printing Industry. Depending on the
company´s security policy, objectives and customers´
specifications, a risk analysis will define among additional
requirements listed in the Risk Inventory Check list, those to be
verified during the audit.
