Shaping the Future with Books

On 20-24 October 2021, stakeholders from every corner of the European book market will convene once again in Germany at the Frankfurt Book Fair. Registrations are now open for our accompanying conference on 21 October: Shaping the Future with Books (Chapter 2). This event is organised by Intergraf with the support of our research partner, Smithers.

The book market in Europe has experienced a turbulent two years due to the effects of COVID-19. But the story has neither been straightforward nor predictable. Following an unstable spring/summer 2020 due to the first pre-vaccine wave of lockdowns, Europe’s book market has rebounded, with more and more positive news being communicated from different countries.

The future looks bright for books – which are still loved best in print. At Chapter 1 of this event, a webinar back in February, Adam Page, Global Director of Research and Reports at Smithers, explained to participants that in Western Europe, the book market is projected to grow from €5.7 billion in 2020 to €6.5 billion in 2025 (2.6% CAGR).

Join us at Shaping the Future with Books (Chapter 2) in Frankfurt on 21 October for more insights about this important and multifaceted market. Participants will hear the perspectives of printers, publishers, and other experts, as well as receiving an EXCLUSIVE market report and presentation from Smithers.

We look forward to welcoming you in-person again!
