Call for Tender: EU-funded project for the printing industry
Intergraf, together with UNI Europa Graphical & Packaging, has launched a call for tender for external communication expertise under the EU-funded Print Your Future 2 (PYF2) project.
Running for 24 months from 2026, PYF2 aims to attract a new generation of workers to the European graphical sector while strengthening cooperation between employers and trade unions through sectoral social dialogue.
The project addresses some of the industry’s most pressing challenges: an ageing workforce, persistent recruitment and skills shortages, and an outdated perception of print among younger generations. Despite the sector’s advanced technologies, sustainable practices, diverse career opportunities and strong collective bargaining culture, many young people remain unaware of the role print plays in their everyday lives.
PYF2 will help reshape this image through targeted communication campaigns, video content, social media activities and cooperation with vocational education and training institutions. The campaign will connect print with young people’s interests, including comics, manga, board games, packaging, stickers, art and design, while highlighting the sector’s modern workplaces, career prospects, inclusiveness and contribution to society.
In parallel, the project will strengthen the capacity of European social partners to participate effectively in the Graphical Sectoral Social Dialogue Committee.
Scope of the tender
Intergraf and UNI Europa are seeking an experienced external company or team with expertise in creative communication, video production and digital campaigns targeting young audiences.
The selected subcontractor will work closely with the project Steering Group and will be responsible for activities including:
- developing a detailed methodology, production plan and monitoring schedule;
- producing four animated or infographic-based thematic videos;
- producing four promotional videos featuring real footage from the graphical industry;
- producing one video on innovative vocational education and training practices;
- developing five collaborations with relevant YouTube content creators;
- designing and implementing a social media strategy;
- producing a multilingual project leaflet; and
- updating and promoting the Print Your Future website.
Applicants should demonstrate strong experience in communication strategy, video production, cooperation with online content creators and campaigns aimed at young people. Experience working with representative organisations, European projects and culturally diverse audiences will be considered particularly valuable.
