Sappi is a global leader in woodfibre-based renewable materials, focusing on sustainable processes and products. It manufactures dissolving pulp, wood pulp, biomaterials, packaging papers, specialty papers, graphic papers, and forestry products from sustainably managed forests. Many facilities use bioenergy, making operations largely self-sufficient.
Annually, Sappi produces 5.5 million tons of paper, 2.6 million tons of paper pulp, and 1.5 million tons of dissolving pulp.
